Space Hulk Intro & Battle Report

The guys at Miniwargaming.com have done a Battle Report (playtest) for the new super-expensive, super-gorgeous, super-awesome Space Hulk board game. Here’s the first video, and the other parts are after the jump!

    seems like fun but the mission seems a little one sided no?

    In what way do you mean, exactly? In favour of the marines or the genestealers?

    I think it seems pretty balanced, to be honest. While the genestealers are pretty nasty, and there are a lot of them to contend with, the marines have things like overwatch to even the score.

    I think the game looks awesome, but it’s tough to justify that $120 price tag.

    for the genestealers. the move more, they attack more (more dice) and they far outnumber the marines and their weapons don’t jam.

    maybe it’s just the map though, i would imagine with longer hallways and sticking together the marines have a better chance.

    also i think the guy had bad luck with his roles. the idea is a fantastic one though, but as you said, 150 bucks is pretty steep for a board game.

    makes me want to play zombies!
